Typically, anyone who's having sudden chest or left shoulder pain should report to the emergency room, right? But in the next few weeks (months?) of the coronavirus pandemic, if you think you are having a medical emergency, going to a crowded emergency room may not be your best option. If you want to know if you really need to go, feel free to call us first. Physical therapists are trained to screen for serious health concerns and to help with musculoskeletal issues. Some musculoskeletal issues present like scary medical emergencies, but are not life threatening. We can help screen you to determine if the trip to the ER is in your best interest, or if your problem could be helped through exercise and good advice. Not only can we give guidance about the necessity of an ER visit, we also offer telehealth services to help you recover from any musculoskeletal issue.
